John Fairchild, Chairman | John Fairchild started Phoenix Mortgage in 1984 and proudly renamed the company to Pacific Crest Savings Bank in 2005. John has been active in the Northwest mortgage banking industry for more than 30 years. John co-founded Fairchild Mortgage Services and Columbia Mortgage Services prior to forming Pacific Crest.
John has served on the boards of publicly traded Metropolitan Bancorp and Interlinq Software. He also served on the Ryther Child Center Board of Trustees and the board of the Washington State Mortgage Lenders Association.
John was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. He attended Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. He has two children and seven grandchildren.
| Sheryl Nilson, Vice Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer | Sheryl is co-founder of Pacific Crest and has more than 25 years of experience in mortgage banking. As President and CEO, Sheryl oversees all departments of the company.
She is a past president of the Washington Mortgage Lenders Association, and a past director of Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association and Fannie Mae Advisory Board.
Sheryl was born, raised and continues to reside with her husband in the Seattle area. She attended the University of Washington and is a graduate of the MBA's School of Mortgage Banking. | Cindy Funaro, Senior Vice President, Banking  | Cindy joined Pacific Crest Savings Bank in 2003 as Senior Vice President of the Banking Division. She focuses on risk management and her responsibilities include overseeing deposit operations, compliance, and regulatory relations.
Cindy came to Pacific Crest after thirteen years with Washington State Department of Financial Institutions, where she was a Financial Examiner Supervisor for the Division of Banks.
Cindy is a Washington native; she graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree in Finance and Accounting and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School with honors. She is also active with the Seattle Symphony; singing with the Seattle Symphony Chorale since 1994 and singing with choirs across Europe and Asia. | Wayne Bull, Senior Vice President, Controller  | Wayne has been with Pacific Crest since November 1998. As Senior Vice President, Controller, Wayne supervises the daily operations of the Accounting Department and HR/Payroll. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the company.
Prior to Pacific Crest, Wayne was Sr. Accountant with Cascade Bank from 1986 through 1998.
Wayne graduated in 1985 from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He received a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Business.
Wayne is married with two children and resides in Monroe. |
